Book Cover Design: Sister Snake

Client: Ethos Books, Amanda Lee Koe

Winner of the 2025 Singapore Book Awards Best Cover Award

Sometime in 2024 I was approached by Amanda Lee Koe to design the Singaporean cover of Sister Snake. She sent me a e-copy of the book that I proceeded to demolish within a day. 

Goodness, I wanted, needed, to make a nice cover out of this.

Some elements Amanda wanted to focus on was sisterhood, entanglement and certain prominent plot devices and episodes that made an appearance in the story. I whipped up 2 drafts with a breakdown of their elements and how they related to the story.

We eventually went with draft 1, I have very tender feelings when it came to human hands and florals. an so I was more than happy to deliver.
